WHAT IS NRG'S MUSIC PROJECT?
NRG'S music project is a fun creative 2-3 month music programme where groups and individuals work along side music engineers, industry professionals, mentors and other musicians to create music, weather you are interested in music production, vocal recording, song writing and more...
If you are a budding rapper, singer, producer or simply just interested in learning how to play a part in the production world of music, this is for you!
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE
Studio production / recording sessions: Bring your ideas to life with 15+ hours of FREE music studio sessions supported by our studio engineers (approx 2-3 hours per session). All sessions include refreshments to keep you hydrated.
Development support: Take advantage of FREE Mentor & industry professional support and advice sessions (in person or video call).
End product: Get your track(s) mixed and a professionally mastered track for FREE ready to share with the world.
Live: Gain free access to our rehearsal space to hear how your music sounds in a live environment. You may even get the opportunity to perform in front of an intimate crowd at one of our live music event.
Registered members also gain access to additional discounted studio hours and services (limited to current funding).
HOW IT WORKS
Once registered, we will arrange your induction visit (please note that if you are under 18 years of age, you will need to be accompanied by an adult).
During your induction, we will explain in detail how the project works along with creating your studio session timetable. We tailor programmes towards your area of interest. It is important to us that the time and duration of each session is agreed in advacne to allow for a smooth and stress free experience. If you would like to be accompanied by someone when attending your induction or even your studio sessions, it is essential that you let us know in advance. They will need to complete a details form before entering the premises.
WHO CAN APPLY
The NRG music project is available for small groups and individual aged between15-21years.
Please note that there are limited spaces for this project so do your best to share information about yourself and why you've got the right NRG for this project.
All other studio services are available to all ages where you can take advantage of our subsidised and professional services.
COST
Once inducted and confirmed as a participant, you will be required to make a one off £25 registration fee payment.
Our project aims to make a significant difference in the North London community; particularly among young people aged 15 to 21 in the Tottenham and North London area. The core of our project lies in a 20-week music production programme that serves as a powerful engagement tool for young individuals seeking an outlet for self-expression and a positive pathway.
Through this programme; we envision empowering our participants by fostering their creativity; building their self-esteem; enhancing their skill sets in music production; inspiring a sense of confidence and reducing their risk of falling into negative influences. The project will provide young people with a safe space; access to mentors with similar life experiences; and opportunities to develop their talents. We are committed to evaluating its impact throughout and beyond its duration; by seeking regular feedback from participants and recording their experiences.
By structuring this initiative with a focused and targeted approach; we aim to provide assistance to young people in our community to overcome challenges and realise their full potential. Through our close collaboration with local people; we are confident that this project will make a lasting and transformative difference in the lives of those it reaches.
