We had pleasure of catching up with Isra at Mavro's Studio to discuss and conversate about Music Engineering, mentoring and more.

Isra Lohata, better known as Wizzy Wow, a songwriter, musician, and a twice Grammy-
nominated music producer (Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ and Chrisette Michele’s ‘Better’) has established
name in the music industry for his innovative production work.
He first discovered his love for music production at a young age, finding solace in music after moving to
London from Sweden. Isra's passion grew and he helped form the grime collective Combination
‘Chain Gang’ of which Wretch 32 was a part of.
Isra continued down the production, working with the most exciting UK rap artists of the time such as 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Kano, Tinie Tempah, Giggs, Chip, Knucks and Stormzy, for which he was nominated for a prestigious Ivor Novello award for co-producing ‘Don’t Cry For Me’.
His production has also caught the ear of brands such as Adidas who used one of his songs on the ‘Take The Stage’ campaign for the 2012 Olympics advert and for the Chelsea FC ‘Got The Blues’ advert for their 2013/2014 new kit launch.
In addition to making music, Isra enjoys sharing experiences and knowledge to develop and help
others reach their full potential. Isra has also worked with Levi’s & Skepta, as one of their music
mentors.
Throughout my career, I have always found time to develop multiple up and coming artists within the
realms of Artist/Producer development.
