Passion Mastering (founded 2012)
'Roop' is the owner of Passion Mastering and a full time UK based mixing and mastering engineer. Roop has been professionally engineering for clients since 2012, and has worked with artists from all over the world. Before getting into engineering he was a producer and remixer working with UK Garage and RnB music.
When it comes to mixing and mastering, Roop works with a wide range of music, but has a special interest in RnB, Rap music and in more recent times UK Drill and Afro Beat. He enjoys working with UK music, as the scene is really thriving right now. Roop works from his own studio space in Hampshire (UK), which consists of a hybrid analog & digital setup. He uses a combination of both vintage and modern outboard gear such as Alan Smart, SSL, Rupert Neve, API and combine them with state of the art digital DSP plugins and various software brands that they trust for their sound quality. Passion Mastering also use a combination of high end 2-way and 3-way monitoring speakers with calibrated subwoofers and high end headphones. The studio is acoustically treated and DSP calibrated.
Passion Mastering is also supported by industry leading brands such Izotope, Baby Audio (featuring my own plug-in presets), Universal Audio, Aston Microphones, Audient, Sontronics and more.
